In 2019 over 19,000 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer
In 2019, an estimated 19,353 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s an average of 53 people diagnosed every day and the number is increasing every year. Breast cancer is now the most common cancer diagnosed in Australian women and will account for 20% of all new cancers in Australian women in 2019. [i]
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)
BCNA is a network of 120,000 members (more than 90% of whom have been diagnosed with breast cancer) who have been working tirelessly for 20 years to raise awareness, increase education and support Australians affected by breast cancer.
