It's clear this season that there are 5 women's winter knitwear items you need through AW22 to make winter living comfortable. With these versatile winter knitwear items, you'll dress effortlessly for every occasion.

  1. Fine Roll Neck
  2. Button-down Cardigan
  3. Pullover
  4. Roll Neck (Chunkier version)
  5. Long-line cardigan

So let's jump in and take a look!

Fine Gauge Roll Neck

Bark Fine Gauge Roll Neck- $139.00

This winter knitwear fine roll neck suits all layering needs! Tuck it in jeans or sit it loosely over your leggings on run-about days.

Wear this knitwear piece under a long line cardigan, puffer vest, blazer or leather jacket, the options are endless.

Dress up, dress down, in the office or WFH - you get the picture, you will wear this knitwear day after day.

The majority of our Fine Gauge Roll Necks are 95% Cotton, 5% Cashmere. A breathable, durable quality women's winter knitwear that's great for everyday use.

Button down cropped Cardigan

Oat Bobby Cardigan - $149.00

We love the reintroduction of the button down. You can have so much fun with crops, bell sleeves, ribs, cables and textured yarns. Each of our button-downs tells a different story and it's why they all work so well together as part of our winter knitwear collection.

This style transitions you from warmer to cooler months and works well layered over dresses and skirts (including knit skirts) and to jeans and pants. The button down cardigan will elevate your everyday look and will tempt you to splash out on our 100% Australian Merino version once you have fallen for this style.

Dusty Pink Pullover with cable textured yarn

Dusty Pink Evie Pullover - $149.00

This pullover is one of our favourite styles and had remained a bestseller through the years. We brought it back for our women's winter knitwear collection AW22 in a broad range. Choose from regular fit, oversized fit, raglans sleeves, set-in sleeves, split hem, ribbed him, ribs, cables and textured yarns.

They are all different.

My favourite is the boyfriend fit, which is more like a sweater than a slim fit knit.

Black Ribbed Roll Neck

Black Kathryn Roll Neck - $149.00

What says winter more than a Roll Neck? Ok, I know I'm not allowed to wear my UGGS out the house, but a chunky roll neck and UGGS are basically what got me through the pandemic.

Did anyone else get cold WFH? I had cups of tea on constant flow, the heating on and the only thing that really works is a chunky roll neck.

The chunky roll neck is not just about warmth; everyone looks great in a roll neck! The textures and yarns you can use in these chunkier women's winter knitwear designs always add a level of detail that elevates a look.

Long Line Cardigan grey buttons cable

Pavement Matilda Cardigan - $179.00

I've often called this item a 'Coatigan' because that's is that is its - a combined coat and cardigan. It's a third piece that you can layer with or without a coat. I love our Fine Gauge Roll Neck, so I often wear one of these under an oversized Coatigan, like the one in the image.

I'm a bit short, so layering like this helps to show a little waist. Although, post-baby, the long line cardigan is my friend to hide those bumps I now know so well!

I often design a cardigan with the signature 'Maxted Cable', or a new cable design as I find cardigans an ideal style for showcasing true knitwear innovation.

There are plainer options available with the Cotton Cashmere Cardigan and The Gabriella Coatigan if you are not feeling a cable knit.
