This season one of the new shapes we are excited to introduce to Maxted is the Knit Polo. We absolutely love these runway & fashion week looks featuring knit polos, but how can you make a knit polo work for an everyday lifestyle?
Here's how to style a knit polo
4 ways to style a Knit Polo
Future Classics
This is one of the trends that we called out for this AW23. Future classics is a clean no-fuss look and often features some sort of tailoring. For this look, we have chosen a newly released tailored blazer from Assembly Label, from their latest collection, classic slim fit mid-blue Levi's, and our favourite sneaker from Adidas. If you want to know more about our AW23 trends please check out our blog post here.
Transeasonal Styling
Transeasonal styling is something we are always talking about. You need your outfit to work all year round, particularly in today's unpredictable seasons. We have styles our light grey knit polo with raw edge jeans to add a bit of texture to this outfit, along with a leather jacket from local Geelong brand Ena Pelly. To finish off the look we are loving these suede loafers from DOF (Department of Finery).
Summer Vibes
Summer vibes with a knit polo is a great option for hotter Australian states, a knit polo looks super cute tucked into a skirt. Choosing a classic print like a dot, animal or stripe will work really well. We picked these slides up from Seed to style with our camel knit polo, but you could go with a kitten heal for a bit more fun, along with a red lip!
Feeling the Chill
When you are 'Feeling the Chill', it's all about layers. We have stuck to classic colours with this woollen long-line camel coat from Mango, that we picked up on the Iconic. Choosing a black and white Chuck Converse alongside our light grey knit polo tshirt brings the look together.
