Maxted recently showcased at Finders Keepers Sydney, 2019 and we love meeting our customers face to face and talking about the aw19 collection; what visitors love, what they want to see more of and talk all things knitwear.

Attending markets like Finders Keepers means we can also meet and discover new brands coming into the marketplace and we wanted to highlight some of our favourites, those that we have our eye on at the moment.

The Rushing Hour

What makes them different:

- 30% of their pieces are made from rescued designer cast-off fabrics
- 25 of their pieces are sourced from recycled/repurposed material
- 45% of their pieces are from organic and ethically grown fibres

As a brand, Maxted's ethos is about timeless, long-wearing fashion; staple pieces for your wardrobe that you invest in now and wear for years to come.

We love their mix and match style, ideal for a capsule collection in staple, block colours. Not to mention, it would look great when paired with some of our pieces.

Mustard Made

These two sisters partnered together to create at-home industrial-style lockers for use in the workplace, office, utility room or wherever your creativity takes you.

Their lockers have a minimalist, scandi-style and flat pack for ease of delivery. And, we love their design, versatility and the unique twist they can add to a room available in colours ranging from blush pink and olive to navy and mustard (of course!)

Beau Wylie

Beau is an artist based out of Newcastle, NSW and his designs feature on art prints and greeting cards.

We really loved his playful designs with a uniquely Australian twist.

If you were at Finders Keepers, Sydney, you might recognise some of these brands and if you weren't able to make it this year, we'd definitely recommend trying one of the other Finders Keepers markets or attending next year. They're a great opportunity to discover some up and coming brands.
