Spring Summer on the runway is not typically focused on knitwear (for obvious reasons). But I like to have a quick check on the collections of some of my favourite brands to see what knitwear they are incorporating into their runway looks.
Stella McCartney 2025 Runway Knitwear
This collection included a red mock-neck pullover with oversized lace holes on the body and sleeves. The holes created a draping feel. And I love the red paired together with the mid-brown tone in the pants.
Chloe 2025 Runway Knitwear
Chloe's collection features a crochet knit in a pale apricot colour. The knitted frills and the collar are giving 70's vibes. One of the reasons why I love Chloe.
Victoria Beckham 2025 Runway Knitwear
Beckham has fashioned sleeveless jacquard body suits with
mock-necks. These look versatile enough to transport into an everyday wardrobe.
Isabel Marant 2025 Runway Knitwear
Isabel Marant's 2025 collection adds a bit of sparkle with a lurex long-line dress that features beading. This tells us the knit dress is here to stay for a while, and designers are becoming more adventurous with this silhouette.
Burberry 2025 Runway Knitwear
This is the Pointelle crochet Polo Shirt at Burberry. Pointelle has always been a summer knitwear classic. This one is layered with a knit behind it.
Staying on top of the runway collections into the next year helps us plan our knitwear range for 2025. We want to ensure we offer our customers on-trend pieces that look great throughout the year, knitted with high-quality yarns and care so that you can wear them for decades.
