The first half of the winter season has flown by and I'm not sure where it's gone! For the last couple of weeks we've have had a little 'pause' online and I can't tell you how much we needed it!
After a successful run at Finders Keepers' Melbourne, moving warehouses and getting through Covid Maxted is now ready to relaunch for the latter part of the season.
We asked our friend Brogan Kate to give us hand sharing some of her most loved knitwear styles from our AW22 collection. She chose a wool jumper, knit cardigan and roll neck jumper - 3 knitwear staples that every Australian winter wardrobe needs!
Let's jump in and take a look!
1) Emily Pullover in Salt and Pepper
This black jumper is great because it's an affordable basic at $149.00. The yarn (black with white speckles) makes it look and feel more elevated. You can see how Brogan Kate has styled it with a leather skirt, which is ideal to see how you can dress-up, or down, this classic crew pullover. Simple and clean detailing runs along the sleeves and gives the knit jumper another subtle style detail.
2) Merino Grandpa Cardigan in Pale Oat
This is one of our favourite luxury woolen cardigans this winter, the wool come from right here in Victoria and is one of our premium Australian Merino pieces. Its a 'treat yourself piece' that will last for many seasons to come.
We love how casual it feels when paired back with denim and a slouchy hand bag.
The colour 'Pale Oat' has been a best-selling favourite; probably because it transcends seasons and will be just as useful in cool summer evenings as chilly winter days.
This colour!!! This texture's stitch! What I love the most about this stitch is how well it wears.
Our customers often ask about pilling and I advise that the rate of pilling occurs due to a combination of things:
- the stitch
- the colour
- the yarn
